Chris Lang
Chris
Lang failed Year 11 English, and scraped through Year 12 with a
compensatory pass. Today he is a successful author, businessman and executive with a leading commercial property firm.
What
brought about the change?
He
developed a simple, practical and effective method of study and goal
setting, which he put into practice. Your Future Success sets out
this recipe for success. The authors (father and daughter) combined
to writing this book, in what is a unique and accessible style.
Chris currently heads up Gardner+Lang
who acts for high net worth, or high-income clients ... to acquire, manage
and market their properties for maximum results.
Belinda "Binny" Lang
Binny
Lang leads a busy life. When the book was written, not only was she
completing her secondary education, but she was also heavily involved in
tennis, swimming, basketball, baseball, and hockey! She was also in
the state squad for water polo. As she moved through secondary
school she had to fit in all these activities without loosing sight of her
goals. The key was her father's study method.
The
system worked for Binny; and it was her idea to write this book with
her
father and to share it with other students like you.
Binny
graduated from secondary school and went on to complete a Degree in
Applied Science at RMIT, majoring in Marketing - doing part of her final year "on
exchange", at Penn State University.
After working in
sales and marketing with two start-up dot-com companies (which are still
growing) in Melbourne ... Binny moved to London for 18 months, and
became the Sales & Marketing Director for
Julius Rutherfoord & Co Ltd
- a London-based Commercial Cleaning company.
Since returning to
Melbourne, she has had a career change, and started working as Marketing Manager for Melbourne River Cruises. She is now National Manager - Strategy with AAA Tourisim.
Using the
time management techniques in this book, even now Binny manages to
optimise her time, so as to also fit in water polo, touch rugby and
regular visits to the gym around her work commitments.
